The wrong Gospel of Jesus Christ
72
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good news of the Coming of the kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God can be summarized as
"Good works from a pure heart."
The kingdom of God comes to those who focuses on keeping the purity of heart by observing truth inwardly. This truth is the "Christ" and the "word of God".
Therefore the Gospel is whosoever believes in Jesus Christ (the spirit of truth in you) they are sons of God and have inherited eternal life.
Now from the pure heart ( true believers) the Good works will naturally flow.
And that person is established in God's kingdom or we might also say a disciple of Christ.
Also the pure heart will get very clear understanding of the things around him and the true nature of God will be revealed.
With these revelation, the disciple will be well grounded in Truth, and thus know all things of which works of miracles will again naturally occur.
These revelation are written and called scriptures, which can serve as a guide to finding and walking in truth for the purification of the heart but it is not absolutely necessary .
In this world we have Christian mainly preaching Christ, and most are convince they are truly disciples of Christ because they have the name and the scriptures which came by revelation.
I think it is obvious though that the name christian means nothing and everything at the same time.
For many who carry the name still do not actually know Christ and the works that should naturally flow is absent.
I can say it this way, though they have the name christian and the scriptures, they do not posses the Spirit of Christ or we may say they do not have truth within themselves . And if ever they teach the truth about the gospel, it is within a context that the gospel not easily discerned.
The main reasons for this diverging from the truth of the Gospel is the scriptures.
As said before the scriptures are the revelation of those who believed the Gospel.
The scriptures is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instructions in righteousness. I can paraphrase this to say it's purpose is to assist any to walking in the Spirit of truth.
For every believer purpose is to know and recognize and live by this Spirit.
The scripture causes men to deviate from the truth of the Gospel because of these reasons.
It was limited to only sixtysix or seventyeight books according to difference in denomination. So only the books within the bible are considered true scripture.
But truly there are hundreds of scripture over the years of men existance.
Next the limited collection of scriptures called the bible has been declared the only and final authority of the believers of the Gospel.
Now by this declaration we are forced to assume, That there are no revelation nor truth outside of the bible and
to live and walk in the fullness of the spirit of truth is merely a matter of studying and knowing the scriptures contained in the bible.
Effectively making the bible a book of law to abide by and therefore labelled the word of God.
Now the concept of the bible as the only and final source for all revelation, instructions, and truth is a foreign concept even to the very scriptures contained on it's pages.
Here are a few notable ones.
Jesus the person whom the Gospel revolves said and written in the book of John, that there is a spirit of truth or the Holy Spirit or the comforter which is the guide into all truth. And by this Spirit we will know all things and do all things.
Paul in the book of Romans also wrote, any who do not have the spirit of truth does not belong to Christ.
John in 1St John again wrote, it is not necessary that any man teach you for there is an anointing with you and in you that will teach you all things.
In the book of Galations Paul showed that it is impossible for any man to know God by keeping a law while the book of acts spells out the only things that should be imposed on beleivers namely abstaining from forniction, eating blood, and worshiping Idols.
The title "Word of God" was given to the bible, which technically is accurate, but when the bible is being read, everytime the term "word of God" is presented, it denotes ones personal revelation from the Spirit of Christ and not the scriptures itself.
But it is widely accepted that "word of God" is the bible though the word scripture is used to denote scriptures.
These are just a few references which ultimately tells us who is the final authority of the believers of the Gospel is the Spirit of Christ or your revelation of truth in your heart .
Like I said earlier the Gospel is all about purifying the heart through adhering to the truth (spirit of Christ or living word of God) found within.
We now hear a Gospel where the bible the principal Figure, and also is the substitute "word of God" or Christ thus eliminating the need to look into one's heart for truth or the Christ.
We see denomination boasting of their adherence to the bible as their absolut and final authority, and though their Gospel messages are similar none of them could agree.
A clear indication of error.

Kess, some beautiful ideas, here.
There are so many "mortal" interpretations, full of ego and selfishness. Pseudo-Christians probably outnumber true Christians. That's sad. Yet, is it possible to reach them? I hope so. I care for all my brothers.
One Christian businessman was so relieved finally to be saved, because he could now commit any crime and still go to heaven. He desired his evil so thoroughly, he was willing to blind himself to the truth.
Thanks for writing such a beautiful piece.
Thank you for answering my question and you are so right here, Jesus is the way and the only way and the idea of people running around trying to be one and everyone is going to Heaven no matter who their god is will be in for a rude awakening. I lost a very good friend here over that very thing but some people are impossible to talk to. This person chose my words to be offending to their friends who were not Christians, but call themselves that following someone who came along and had new revelations, changing the word of God. Again, thanks.
Well written, but I would like to add that part of the gospel is the telling of what happened at the cross.
"Christianity" is one of the many universal labels that religion loves to pin on one another.
Once we have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ, we find the heart of Jesus Christ.
Once we find the heart of Jesus Christ, labels are not needed for identification.
Great Hub.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be trouble, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
So what do you think of Jesus crucified? Was truth nailed to the cross?
As far as outsourcing the bible. Much more confusion and error has occurred from people reading false beliefs than those who have confidence that God would reveal a path to himself that is complete. The bible is indeed yet another completed and perfect work of God, unless of course you have the apocrypha in your bible... i'd tear them out and use them for kindling.
I cannot diminish a work of this paramount importance. Prophesied throughout the bible and Gods most marvelous display of Love. Truth can be found without ignoring the cross. Truth did not hold the cross up, the cross was dropped into a 2 foot hole in the ground. Truth is the way to cross And the power of resurrection comes from God and God alone, not the recesses of the human mind. Your doctrine sounds like Christian Science.
kess, re. The wrong Gospel of Jesus Christ
Kess, this is a very interesting Hub, and it holds many truths, from what I can see. It is good that you are a man that believes in revelation, for truly, each individual gains knowledge from the revelation of the Holy Ghost. This revelation, for each man, gives them a measure of truth, according to their desires, and their ability to continue “listening” for the answers they actively seek. James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” This is a promise that the Lord gave to all mankind, and it is a true promise, and because it is truth, it is never-ending. Hence, I suggest that each one of us who seek the truth, having a faith in Christ (and this is paramount), are on a journey of discovery and understanding. Let us each all never cease to desire and actively seek a greater and greater measure of revelation, in patience, humility, hope and trust.
I really enjoyed your perspective, and I am one that believes that each perspective of truth MAY be seen differently, such as when one looks at an engineering drawing from an angle that he is privy to (or a perspective of revelation received, in the measure mete unto him). Then, when one “groups” several perspectives together, they may all share different features that are all true, but “previously” impossible for just one perspective to declare that there is nothing more that could be revealed. I think this is true for angles as well as depths. Therefore, one must not rest on their own laurels, or studies of comprehension; rather it is good to acquire sincerely gained perspectives and Spiritual truths for reconciliation into the Grand Design. Each one must not be dismissed, even if one is unable to immediately reconcile the offered revelation, unless it is not of Christ. The Holy Ghost will again real the truth of it unto each of us, as our humility and faith allows. I also agree that many scriptures have been recorded; some millennia ago, and others within the last few centuries, and I would not doubt, even more - for God is the steward of many flocks of sheep. It is our duty to share, respectfully, and contribute our perspectives to the ends of the earth; to share our Gospel knowledge and testimonies with those who do not have the completeness (meaning “compilation” to date) that is available through those who have done so, including Religious Institutions and Universities who extensively compile, study, and reconcile such. Modern-day Revelation is a fact, even if it means just the coordinated “assembly” of diverse “perspective” truths.
Nice Hub, sincere faith shared here; thank you. Rated UP.
P.S., You had the tenth post on the Forum “From Whence Comes Belief”, found here:
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/82862#post1779735, and I thought it did a great job answering the question, on both sides of the coin i.e.: belief and unbelief. Doubt can be a stumbling block when one thinks his perspective, albeit true, is the whole enchilada. Peace and good tidings, Kess.
